... perfect weather for sewing

As I listen to the weather reports coming in on the radio I am relieved to hear that we are not expected to see snow in these parts.  Dorset rarely gets to see the 'white stuff', which I am sure is a huge disappointment for many children (and the odd adult) but for me its a blessing - I am not a lover of snow and all that comes with it; ice, poor driving conditions, frozen pipes and more but I'm sure many of you deal with snow on a regular basis. So, what do you do when it's snowing outside?  For me it would be a perfect excuse to cosy up in my craft room and sew.

This little project was on the cutting table keeping me busy whilst the wind howled outside.  A table runner  - pattern from www.swpea.com - fun and easy to make - and the end result has been much admired.

So, what would you do?
