Well, it's arrived and I wasted no time to have a go at making something with it.
It is soft and easy to manipulate. One fear I had, was that I might need to invest in special sewing machine feet or similar, in order to use a standard machine - but this proved unfounded - my sewing machines coped with it perfectly well. You can press it (lightly) but to maintain a clean edge it does require top-stitching.
I did make a few silly mistakes (as usual) but nothing I can't live with - so all that is left to do is find out how well it stands up to every day use.
